We include an “Accessibility Assessment” in the pale blue box at the bottom of most reviews. You can see an example of an accommodation accessibility assessment here: http://www.accessiblethailand.com/city/tuna-resort/ and of an activity accessibility assessment here: http://www.accessiblethailand.com/city/siam-niramit/. The assessment includes:
- The Accessible Thailand Verified Stamp, if a member of the Accessible Thailand team has been to the premises and verified the level of accessibility. If the stamp is not there it means that the listing has been self-assessed by the owner/manager of the business using our “Accessibility Self Assessment Forms” which are provided on request. Contact us if you would like us to assess your business for accessibility.
- Our unique “Accessibility Rating System“© which is explained in detail below. This gives readers an ‘at a glance’ idea of the level of accessibility of a listing venue. The rating system is divided into 4 accessibility categories: ‘Public Areas‘ and ‘Public WC’ are relevant to all listings – tours, activities, shopping centers, bars, restaurants etc: Hotels, resorts and guesthouses will include these categories as well as ‘Accommodation Bedroom‘ and ‘Accommodation Bathroom‘. If you would like to receive a star rating for your business or service, complete online the accessibility rating form and click submit. This will send your responses to us automatically, which we will assess and add to your listing. The questionnaire for accommodation can be found here: http://www.accessiblethailand.
com/accessible-accommodation- rating-form.html and the questionnaire for all other businesses and services here: http://www.accessiblethailand. com/accessible-business- rating-form.html
- An in-depth accessibility analysis write-up of the listing, including relevant details that give a more complete picture for the disabled visitor. To include this in your listing, complete online the accessibility self assessment form, and click submit. This will send your responses to us automatically, which we will assess and add to your listing. For accommodation:

Each category has 1 to 5 stars awarded. Each star represents an accessibility feature, and are not listed in any order. Thus a 3 star award means the listing has any 3 of the 5 stars for that category. A zero rating means that the listing is not wheelchair accessible for that category.
